Children's Theatre Classes at the Old Grantsville Church provide theatre education and performance opportunities for children ages 6 to 14. In our Basic Theatre Class, we teach principles of acting and theatre production, as well as produce a one-act play each session. In our Musical Theatre Class, we learn principles of musical theatre and dance, and prepare a musical theatre number for performance.
Class sessions run January-April, as well as September-November with class performances at the end of each session.
Join us this Winter/Spring Session for either our Basic Theatre Classes for kids ages 6-14, taught by Macae Wanberg, or our new Musical Theatre Classes for kids ages 8-14, taught by Heidi Hughes!
Tuition is $45/month/actor for the Basic Theatre Class, and $50/month/actor for the Musical Theatre Class. A 10% discount will be offered to each additional child from the same immediate family.
!!! THE 2 CLASS PERFORMANCES FOR EACH WINTER/SPRING SESSION CLASS WILL BE HELD SOMETIME IN THE WINDOW OF APRIL 27-MAY 7 , EITHER AS EVENING PERFORMANCES OR AS A SATURDAY MATINEE. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS IF YOU KNOW YOUR ACTOR WILL BE MOSTLY UNAVAILABLE WITHIN THE ABOVE TIME WINDOW!!! We will set more specific performance dates using a family schedule survey, after everyone is enrolled.
